"I can chew! I haven't been able to do that for 23 years."
This is another example completed in just four weeks for the tv show 'Extreme Makeover UK'.
After an accident many years ago Linda had to have several teeth crowned. Unfortunately her dentist at the time had not accounted for the dislocation of her jaw in the same accident. As a result her teeth were set at an akward angle which prevented Linda from chewing side to side normally. This led to excessive stress and wear of her lower teeth which became quite distorted and damaged.
After first realigning her jaw/bite relationship we reconstructed Linda's damaged teeth, replaced her crowns at a more approriate alignment to return her freedom of movement and replaced some missing teeth too with bridgework.
Linda's teeth were constructed by Frontier Dental Lab, California
Frontier Dental Lab hold the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry 'Best of Show' (2004) Smile Award.
Frontier are one of only three laboratories currently accredited to work for the Rosenthal Institute of Aesthetic Dentistry at NYU.
